Since I wrote up a piece on Jalen Hurts, I figured it was only right to do the same for Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes will likely win his second MVP award this year after an outstanding season. Coming into the year, a lot of people thought that someone in the AFC West would upset the Chiefs and take the division from them. Some said that due to the absence of Tyreek Hill, Mahomes and the Chiefs offense would take a step back, but that was not the case. Kansas City once again was the best-scoring offense in football despite losing Tyreek Hill.
In just under two weeks, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles will clash from State Farm Stadium in Arizona for the Super Bowl. I wanted to give you all three early Super Bowl bets that we can lock in purely dedicated to Patrick Mahomes.

This line is absurd, and it is worth throwing some money on. Mahomes obviously is not fully healthy, but with two weeks to recover, I expect that he will be more mobile than he was versus the Bengals in the AFC Championship. He could sneak in at some point, get loose on a scramble, and get into the end zone. At +500, we have to lock this in.

I think Philly plays most of this game ahead, forcing the Chiefs into a negative game script, which means more passing for Mahomes. This is a Kansas City team that wants to throw the football either way, but the fact that we can get this play in a negative game script is a no-brainer to me.

This is once again all about the value. Philly has a great pass rush, and if they can make Mahomes uncomfortable, he may throw something away early. There is also the possibility of a deep shot early that falls incomplete.
