The 2023 Super Bowl is almost here. We're about one week away from the big game. Everyone's talking about the quarterbacks of the Chiefs and Eagles. Therefore, many forget how good the defenses have been for both of these teams this season.
Chris Jones has been the X-Factor for the Chiefs, especially in the playoffs. The Chiefs have moved Jones all over the defensive line and have given him the best opportunity to succeed.
Jones has five total tackles in two playoff games, along with two sacks and stuff. He showed up big time against the Bengals but will have a much harder assignment against the Eagles.
After all, the Eagles have a much better offensive line than the Bengals, especially since the Bengals' offensive line had multiple players injured heading into that game.

In two games, the Eagles have allowed just two sacks in the postseason. Jalen Hurts is extremely hard to get down. He's got great quickness and awareness and can get away from pressure with his feet if needed.
Add on that Philadelphia has the best offensive line in football and it'll be hard for Jones to make a true impact for the Chiefs in this game.
On top of that, the Eagles are going to run a lot. Philadelphia's known for being strong in the run game and they'll do that against a Chiefs defense that hasn't stopped the run that well throughout the year.
Less opportunity against the Eagles to earn a sack will hurt Jones.

Jones will have to make his tackles mostly in the run game. As I suggested, he likely won't dominate the game and earn sacks against this Eagles offensive line. No matter if they move Jones to the end of the defensive line or in the middle.
Jones only added one tackle against the Jaguars in the first postseason game and has added a bunch of sacks in the second half of the year. But if I believe he won't get a sack, it'll be hard for him to earn four tackles without getting a sack. Take his under.
