Super Bowl Player Prop Pick

One player who has had a down couple of weeks is Eagles wide receiver, A.J. Brown. To be fair, Brown and the Eagles have steamrolled their way into the Super Bowl, and haven’t needed to pass the ball a great deal. They opened the playoffs beating the New York Giants 31-7 and followed that up with a 38-7 route of the San Francisco 49ers.

Either way, the Eagles weren’t locked into close games that required them to pass at any point this postseason. Now they get the Chiefs led by season veteran Patrick Mahomes and head coach Andy Reid, so I’m expecting a close game here.

Brown hasn’t broken the 30-yard receiving mark in a single game this postseason, but he should be needed this weekend. Let’s not forget that Brown closed the season strong, with at least 70 receiving yards in the Eagles' last six games of the season. To put that into better perspective, Brown finished with at least 95 receiving yards in five of those six games (including three 100+ receiving yard games).

The Chiefs allow the 14th-most passing yards per game this season, so the defense does not scare me in this spot. I like A.J. Brown to bounce back in a memorable way this weekend.
