2023 Super Bowl Touchdown Prediction
This piece will be centered around former Heisman winner DeVonta Smith. He was a standout at Alabama and he has not disappointed in his brief NFL career. Smith was a first-round pick for the Eagles a couple of years ago and now will be playing in the biggest game of his young career.
The 24-year-old does have experience on the center stage, winning a national championship at the University of Alabama. He also happens to have a great relationship with Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, dating back to their college days.
Smith is a pivotal piece to this Eagles team. He made an unbelievable catch that may not have been a catch vs. the 49ers on fourth down in the NFC championship. That play helped the Eagles score on the first drive and they never looked back.
We are taking DeVonta Smith any time touchdown. This is a game where I see a good amount of points, and the value here is far too good on him. Philly uses Smith in the red zone often, and his big play ability also makes this an appealing play. He will draw favorable matchups due to the attention that the Kansas City Chiefs will give to AJ Brown. I can not pass up this number on six. Let’s cash in!
