Travis Kelce has played in 17 postseason games in his career and has caught an amazing 15 touchdowns. What's even more amazing is that 13 of those touchdowns have come in the last four years. It's pretty simple Patrick Mahomes loves him and he loves the end zone.
They have a connection and this man might be the best tight end in the NFL and will make a run at being the best tight end in NFL history. Kelce has scored 12 touchdowns in the 2022 regular season so almost one a game and he has three touchdowns in the last two playoff games. There is no stopping the Mahomes and Kelce combo. Do you need more proof? Well, Kelce caught 110 balls this season which is 32 more than anyone else on the team.
Now let's take a look at this from the Philadelphia Eagles' perspective. San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle was killing them in the first quarter before the 49ers lost Brock Purdy. Kittle is good but he isn't at Kelce's level and Purdy isn't Mahomes. The Eagles have the best defense against the pass but that's because they are ranked 15th against the run.
