While there has been a lot of buzz around Kenneth Gainwell and Boston Scott this week, I like trusting Miles Sanders to get the job done in the first quarter. The Philadelphia Eagles have played two playoff games, where they ended up winning by a large margin, skewing the game logs towards some of the backups a bit more. Even with Sanders taking a diminished role because of these game scripts, he still was very active in the first quarter. The Eagles are one of the best offenses in football, and a huge part of that has been their aggressive rush rate.
The Kansas City Chiefs do have a pretty solid run defense on paper, but they have benefited from the game script, and having such a good offense on the other side. The good news is that the Chiefs also haven't faced the best offensive line in football, and I would definitely give the edge to the Eagles in that trenches battle. I think the Eagles will want to settle into this game with a run-heavy plan of attack, and Miles Sanders should be the beneficiary of that in the first couple of drives. With how good both offenses are, we might get a chance at a couple of drives in the first quarter.

Another unique prop I like in this game is for either team to attempt a 2-point conversion. I've talked to a lot of fans on both sides of this matchup, and I think an overall common theme is that both sides are agreeing we see a very good game. On one side you have the Eagles, who are top to bottom the most impressive roster in football, then you have the Chiefs, who happen to have the best quarterback and coach in Football. We know both of these teams have aggressive tendencies, trust in their offense, on some faith in the analytics of going for it (especially the Eagles) and I think we get a game script where this goes to the last minute. I see both of these teams having a chance to cover this bet, and I like getting it plus money. The best part is they don't even successfully have to convert, all we need is an attempt!
