Predicting a Masters winner is very hard, but finding one at 100/1+ is even harder. We've taken a look at the betting to see what online bettors are predicting, and even added our own Masters pick.
ANALYSIS

2021 Masters Picks & Predictions

Trying to predict a Masters winner is very hard, and as the Masters odds market shows there are numerous players with strong chances this year. There's no less than six players under +2000 in the 2021 Masters odds market, and given the quality of these top players there's very little value in picking a player at the top of the Masters betting market.

If picking one player in the +1000 to +2000 odds range is hard, then picking a Masters winner greater than +10000 is almost impossible. However, we are going to make two Masters picks in this price range. One of these Masters picks will be based on 2021 Masters betting patterns, and will highlight the most-wagered long-shot in the field. The other Masters pick over 100/1 will be OddsChecker's own fancy.

Former Masters Winners

You might think looking at long-shots to win the 2021 Masters is pointless, however, there have been plenty of upsets in this tournament in recent history.

Zach Johnson was a shock winner on the Masters way back in 2007, when he won at odds of +12500, he had only one PGA Tour victory to his name before pulling on the famous green jacket.

The 2008 Masters was another shock year, this time Trevor Immelman claimed victory at +15000.

2011 was the last time we saw a winner at 100/1 or bigger, this time Charl Schwartzel stunned the golfing world and claimed Masters glory. The South African birdied the final four holes to beat Jason Day and Adam Scott.

2021 Masters Picks & Predictions: Brian Harman Fancied By Bettors

Brian Harman isn't a name that will jump from the page when searching the 2021 Masters odds market, however, he's been a very popular pick with bettors in the last 24-hours.

The American is ranked 50th in the world, and is priced at +10000 to win the 2021 Masters with the majority of sportsbooks on OddsChecker.

Brian Harman finished T3 at The Players Championship, and his best Masters performance was T44 at the 2018 Masters.

Despite being given odds of 100/1 to win the Masters, Brian Harman has been the 10th most wagered player in the field in the last 24-hours, ahead of the likes of Collin Morikawa, Patrick Reed and Bryson Dechambeau.

Bet365 have set odds of 100/1 for Brian Harman winning the 2021 Masters, and they are also letting players bet each-way. Which means if Brian Harman finishes in the top eight but doesn't win, bettors will win one-fifth of the odds. Here's how it works:

Bet $20 on Brian Harman winning the 2021 Masters, $10 of this bet will be on Brian Harman winning, the other $10 will be on him finishing in the top eight.

If Brian Harman wins you will win $1200 profit, if Harman finishes 2nd-8th you will win $190 profit.

2021 Masters Picks & Predictions: Corey Conners Shouldn't Be 100/1

Now it's time for OddsChecker Masters pick at 100/+, and we've settled on the in-from Corey Conners who is priced at 100/1 with PointsBet.

Corey Conners shows just how important odds comparison is, as the Canadian has odds of +6600 with other sportsbooks, but PointsBet are offering odds of +10000.

It's only PointsBet offering these odds, so make sure you click here to wager Conners with this sportsbook.

Anyway, why we have made Corey Conners our Masters Pick at odds of 100/1+, well essentially his stats add up over the last couple of months.

Approach play is key to winning the Masters, and in the last two months, Corey Conners ranks 5th in terms of shots gained in approach in this field.

Another key asset needed to win the Masters is shots gained off the tee, Corey Conners ranks 10th in the last two months in this field.

Finally, putting is going to be as key as ever with the greens reported to be lightning this year, Conners ranks 20th in terms of shots gained putting in the last two months.

As mentioned, Corey Conners shouldn't be 100/1 to win the 2021 Masters.
