1. Justin Thomas

7.88% Of Bets – Best Odds: +1100 (Click Here To Bet)

It’s no real surprise that JT has been the most best backed player in the field so far this week with bettors. A number of high profile handicappers have picked Thomas as their best bet and the World Number Three comes in to this week’s event off the back of a recent win at The Players Championship. Thomas ticks the box of recent form, is one of the best ball strikers in the field and has been slowly performing better every year at The Masters. 2020 was his best ever finish at the event and he’s clearly trending in the right direction. It’s no wonder he’s popular.

2. Jordan Spieth

5.87% Of Bets – Best Odds: +1200 (Click Here To Bet)

Jordan Spieth was available to bet at +6600 for the 2021 Masters when betting opened on the event and since the start of the year, those odds have done nothing but tumble. He’s now into +1200 and the general third-favorite to win (behind Dustin Johnson and Justin Thomas) and it’s down to two major factors: his return to winning form on the PGA Tour and his incredible record at Augusta. His victory at last week’s Valero Texas Open had been a long time coming after a four year victory drought and it’s really inspired bettors to wager on Spieth to go back-to-back. In just seven appearances at Augusta, he’s finished in the top three an incredible four times.

3. Lee Westwood

4.46% Of Bets – Best Odds: +5000 (Click Here To Bet)

Arguably the greatest golfer never to win a Major, yet bettors are convinced this week could well be Lee Westwood’s turn. It’s been a superb season on the PGA Tour so far in 2021 for the Englishman with second place finishes at both Bay Hill and Sawgrass so it’s no wonder that +5000 odds are proving popular with the pubic.  Westwood also has a great record at Augusta, finishing second twice.

4. Rory McIlroy

4.29% Of Bets – Best Odds: +1900 (Click Here To Bet)

In a normal year it wouldn’t be surprising at all to learn that Rory McIlroy is the fourth best backed player in the field. However, 2021 has been a disappointing one for the Northern Irishman and the perennial betting favorite for this event finds himself shifted all the way out to +1900. Rory’s form hasn’t deterred bettors too much though with them surely clinging on to the fact that he’s finished in the top ten in six of the last seven Masters.

5. Dustin Johnson

3.85% Of Bets – Best Odds: +950 (Click Here To Bet)

Dustin Johnson set the scoring record at last year’s Masters, he’s the World Number One, the defending champion and his finishing positions in the last five Masters are: 6-4-10-2-1. Need I say any more? They might just be a few reasons why DJ is the fifth best backed in the field this week. He’s the betting favorite at +950 and will surely be in contention heading into the weekend.
