2021 US Open Odds, Picks & Predictions: Rory McIlroy & Adam Scott Make Our Three Early Picks
2021 US Open Odds
Jon Rahm will have one of the most unique preparations for a Major in golfing history. The Spaniard will be in isolation until two days before the US Open due to his positive COVID test at the Memorial Tournament. Despite not having the ideal build-up to the US Open, Rahm is still the sportsbooks favorite in the 2021 US Open odds market.
Jon Rahm sits at the top of the US Open odds market, with Bet365 going +1100 on the Spaniard, make sure you get the best odds though as DraftKings Sportsbook are just +800 on a Rahm victory.
The US Open odds market becomes pretty clustetered after Rahm, with Bryson DeChambeau, Dustin Johnson, Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas and Rory McIlroy all under +2000.
2021 US Open Odds: The Betting Favorites
Golfer | 2021 US Open Odds |
---|---|
Jon Rahm | +1100 |
Brooks Koepka | +1400 |
Bryson DeChambeau | +1600 |
Dustin Johnson | +1600 |
Jordan Spieth | +1600 |
Justin Thomas | +1600 |
Rory McIlroy | +1800 |
The 2021 US Open odds market is fairly predictable, the favorites are followed by the same-old names which include Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa, Patrick Cantlay, Viktor Hovland, Tony Finau, Hideki Matsuyama and Patrick Reed.
Online sports betting sites are starting to put a lot more value on Collin Morikawa's name, and it will only be a matter of time before you see him join the betting favorites ahead of Majors. For the 2021 US Open, Collin Morikawa's odds are +2200.

2021 US Open Predictions & Picks
Various golf handicappers will be revealing their US Open predictions in the coming days, which will showcase their early leans and picks for the anticipated Major.
Our golf handicapper is one of the best in the business, which he showed by cashing in a Patrick Cantlay ticket last week, his 2021 US Open predictions will be live early next week. Bookmark this page to access them straight away.
We do have a couple of early leans for the 2021 US Open, and you can find our golf picks below, plus the key stats you need to focus on when betting at Torrey Pines.
2021 US Open Prediction: Shane Lowry To Win +6000
Shane Lowry's form significantly dipped since winning The Open, however, the Irishman is our first 2021 US Open prediction, and is a solid price in the betting market.
Lowry has come into a patch of good form, he finished 4th at the PGA, which he then followed up with a 6th place finish at The Memorial Tournament.
Shane Lowry has rediscovered his iron play, in the last five tournaments he's picked up three shots on the field in approach, which as let him to gaining on average 5.9 shots T2G in the same period.
Putting is always a concern with Lowry, which we know will be key at Torrey Pines, however, he's shown some form in recent months, and he tends to marginally gain shots on Poa greens.
The Open winner is no slouch off the tee, and with his approach play clicking he deserves his place in our US Open early picks.
2021 US Open Prediction: Adam Scott To Win +10000
We've made Adam Scott our second US Open prediction, but we wanted to flag Scott's odds vary massively with each sportsbook. FanDuel Sportsbook have set Adam Scott's US Open odds at +4000, which we'd avoid. However, PointsBet have gone +10000 on Adam Scott which is a very good bet.
Adam Scott hardly arrives into the 2021 US Open in red-hot form, however, his last top ten finish on the PGA Tour came at this course.
Despite missing the cut at the PGA, Adam Scott's putter was firing, and he's gained over 2.3 shots with the putter in the last two events.
The worry with Adam Scott is his game off the tee, the Australian has lost on average 1.9 shots off the tee in his last five rounds. However, he can get it together, which he showed at the Sony Open, where he gained 5.1 shots off the tee.
Adam Scott probably wouldn't be the safest US Open pick, however, with sportsbooks going +10000, he's well worth chancing.
2021 US Open Prediction: Rory McIlroy To Win +1800
There's quite a few at the top of the 2021 US Open odds market I would avoid, but I'm quite tempted by both Jordan Spieth and Rory McIlroy.
McIlroy missed two cuts in a row before winning the Wells Fargo, but has hardly wowed since. However, there's a couple of very promising signs with his game.
The first is his iron play, Rory McIlroy has gained on average 3.6 shots on the field in approach over the last five tournaments.
The second is his ability to get the putter hot. McIlroy can have shocking tournaments with the putter which he showed at The Players, but excluding the Masters, he's gained over 2.5 shots with the putter on four occasions in the last six tournaments.
