Cam Young > Davis Riley, Sam Burns +160 (Bet $100 to win $160)
Who would have known that the rookie would get off to this strong of a start? Golf Twitter quickly embraced the former Korn Ferry tour player, and that's for good reason. Not only has Young put himself into a position to compete with the best every week, but his underlying stats are impressive.
Young is coming into Southern Hills ranked second in strokes gained off the tee, and ninth in driving distance so far. This is a course that longer hitters normally have an advantage at, and I believe Young's distance and ability to score gives him a good advantage in this group.
Sam Burns will likely be his biggest competitor for this bet, and while I’m a fan of his game, I still think Young has the advantage on this track. I think both of these golfers are going to perform well this week, but Burns is coming in off of a missed cut, and I'm expecting Young to come out to a fast start once again.

Jordan Speith > Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy +135 (Bet $100 to win $135)
Talk about a star-studded group, this might be the most name value I’ve seen in a single pairing all season long. Spieth's weakness traditionally comes in his tee-to-green game, but his recent form is the best it's ever been in that category. Spieth is known to knock down the crazy putts & insane chips, but if he can continue to play this well off the tee then he’s going to be extremely dangerous this week.
Betting against Tiger never feels good, but I don't think he plays much of a factor in this group. He’s still recovering from injury, and we saw a very conservative playstyle at the Masters in his first start back. While we can never fully count Tiger Woods out of anything, I think this is a two-way matchup here. Rory is obviously one of the best golfers on the planet, and someone I think will be in contention this week, but I don't like his round 1 value as much.
Speith is notorious for getting out to these fast starts, and with his recent form being so strong coming off an impressive performance last week, I expect Spieth to come into this week hot. If you're feeling frisky, I also think there's some solid value on Jordan Spieth first round leader.
