Today is the sixth edition of Capital One’s The Match charity golf event and the four best quarterbacks in the NFL will play tonight. JT Miller shares his best bets for The Match.

The Match Picks: Back Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, and this +20000 Longshot Bet

Alright guys this might be one of the most fun articles I have ever had the privilege to write. We are betting the sixth edition of Capital One’s The Match this evening being played between the four best quarterbacks in the NFL.

Countless MVP Awards, Super Bowls, and other accolades under the belts of these guys and many more to come. The two best quarterbacks in the last 15 years vs the young bulls who are presumably going to step into their shoes once the aforementioned gentlemen hang up their cleats.

If you still don’t know who I’m talking about, the teams are Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers vs. Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes.

I love Golf. I love Football. I love these guys.

I can’t wait. Let's dive into my prediction, best bets, and the odds for The Match.

The Match Prediction

You’d have to be crazy not to bet on this, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I see two angles here that I want to get at and will be looking to maybe even live bet for some fun once I see the guys play a few holes.

I am riding with the goats, the cold-blooded killers who have proven everything they need to prove and are back in the league for me. This is golf, it’s not football and it’s for fun, yes but they are just winners. I know Mahomes can swing it but I have watched Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers play golf before and the boys can shoot. They also have more friends in the PGA world and I know they have first-hand help from some of those guys.

This is a toss-up, they are football players, not golfers but I only see the veterans coming out on top in my eyes. Add in the fact that they are mic’d up, have played in this even before, and can trash talk as much as they want? Give me Brady and Rodgers to swing the sticks and talk a lot of smack on their way to victory.

Oh and I’m definitely betting on someone to hit a hole in one, half a unit.
