2022 Open Championship Prediction
This bet can also be found around the -130 mark on multiple sportsbooks, which I still like. For those that aren't familiar, Tiger has played at The Masters and the PGA Championship since returning from injury. It's been a significant amount of time since he last played a PGA tournament, but Tiger has been seen practicing at the Old Course for weeks. He made the cut at both of the tournaments he played in, despite significantly worse conditions for his back injury.
The Old Course is significantly flatter, which should be good for his health, hence why he’s been able to practice so much over these last couple of weeks. There are only so many courses Tiger can realistically compete at right now, but with his familiarity and success at this shorter, flatter course, I think he will at least make the cut.

2022 Open Championship Best Bet
While there are plenty of valuable top 20 targets across the board, I went for a little bit of a longer shot that I think presents as good value. For most of this PGA season, Reed was stuck having issues with his Driver before finally seeming to resolve it right before leaving for the LIV Tour. In our last article, we successfully called Reed having a Top 10 finish (ended up third), and I think he carries that momentum over here today.
Every early report coming out about the Old Course is that it is playing extremely fast and firm, which I think helps out a player like Reed. Those conditions should help negate some of his weaknesses off the tee and highlight his short game strengths. Reed finished 20th here in the 2015 Open, and despite his rougher recent form has made all three cuts this year, and 7/12 T20’s over his last 12 majors.
