Today’s NHL features just three games, but all of which are divisional clashes. Each game offers its own intrigue, but for tonight we’ve singled out one to bring us in some profit! Let’s get in to today’s NHL pick!
New Jersey Devils @ Philadelphia Flyers
- The Devils have the 2nd worst road record in the NHL since the start of the 2018/19 season
It’s still very early in the season, and we’re only just getting to know how things are going to be shaping up in the league.
The Devils have continued their torrid form of last season, and now currently sitting at 0-1-1, with a whopping twelve goals conceded in their first two games. The Flyers however have started on a positive, following their 4-3 win over the Blackhawks in their Global Series game in Prague, Czech Republic.
Both teams have had a little layoff since their last games, but I expect the moral to be far stronger with Philly, after returning victorious from Europe.
The Devils might well be improved from last year, but they’re yet to punctuate that with a win. Their road record (since the start of the 2018/19 season) now sits at 11-28-3, reflective of just a 26.2% win rate. With that considered, the price you can get on the Flyers’ moneyline is pretty outrageous. They’ll be the pick here.
