The Golden Knights come into this game tonight fresh off a back-to-back winning last night's game 1-0 over the Washington Capitals. The Knights come into this game as the number one seed in the Pacific Division, sporting a record of 25-15-2, good for 52 points. The Hurricanes enter play third in the Metropolitan Division sporting a record of 27-9-2, good for 56 points.

The Hurricanes come into this game very well-rested, having not played since Saturday in a game they lost 7-4 to the New Jersey Devils. The Hurricanes have been led by center Sebastian Aho who has seventeen goals this season along with twenty-five assists for the Canes. The Golden Knights have been led by Johnathan Marchessault, who is tied at sixteenth in the league with nineteen goals this year. The issue for the Knights at times has been the goaltending, as they are allowing 2.95 goals per game. This could be problematic tonight for Vegas facing this high-powered Carolina offense.

The pick I am going with in this game tonight is going to be to back the Hurricanes on the minus one line. I love this spot for them, and this line is going to continue to shoot up as it already has from last night. The Golden Knights have the odds stacked against them here as they are coming off a hard-fought game last night. I love fading the Golden Knights here on back-to-back facing one of the most lethal teams in the NHL.

The Hurricanes come into this game well-rested as they have had the last couple of days off, so they will have fresh legs in tonight's matchup. I think with the high-powered offense that the Hurricanes possess facing this Golden Knights defense that has struggled this season, this is a great matchup for the Canes.
