Edmonton Oilers vs Ottawa Senators Prediction: Expect the Oilers to Take Care of Business
We are off to Canada tonight for an NHL match between the high-flying Oilers and the punchless Senators. The Oilers have won four in a row and look like the team with the best one-two punch in the NHL again ready to avenge a 6-4 loss two weeks ago in Edmonton with their new weapon.

Edmonton Oilers vs Ottawa Senators Prediction
We have spoken about the Oilers a lot and actually predicted that a big winning streak was coming as we had a huge play the other day against Nashville and they delivered in a shootout. This team went ice cold for some reason last month but they are healthy, happy and after a nasty press conference, have figured it out winning four in a row.
The Even bigger news is that Evander Kane is back in the league and looks like he found a home, scoring a goal and helping Edmonton to their best offensive performance of the year with seven goals. Forward Zach Hyman said it better than we can why he is such a great addition: "I think you're able to see how spread out the lines were and how we were able to get contributions from all four lines," said forward Zach Hyman, who recorded two goals and an assist. "I think that when you're able to roll all four lines, it wears on teams. You're able to be fresh. It's not fun to play against when you have a new set of guys who are just dangerous going out every shift."
Kane is a former first-round pick (4th overall) and has never been afraid of shooting and scoring with over 500 points in his career. This team didn't need any help before to score as they have been a top 10 offense since Mcdavid and Draisaitl have been there. The number two power play team it seems almost unfair to have to face them now with an angry Kane making them even scarier.
The real anger though is how they outshot Ottawa by 11 and still lost in the last match as the one-two combo was held to just one assist combined. They will have a different goalie tonight in Mikko Koskinen (starter versus backup last time) who is 15-8 on the year and we feel he will do his job, and the Senators will have a different goalie in Anton Forsberg who is only 7-7 and hasn't been that good this year.
The Senators are one of the worst teams in the league and really have no home ice edge (6-11). They are known for their defense which stats-wise isn't that good this year as they are giving up over 3 goals a game and offensivley they aren't scoring three goals a game. That combination usually won't get you many wins and it hasn't (13). They outshot Anaheim 45-20 in the last game and got only one goal.
Ottawa needs three games to outscore what the Oilers just did, not a good sign. They have outshot their opponents in six of the last 10 games yet they only won 2 of them. Their leading scorer Drake Batherson has 34 points total and Draisaitl has 31 goals, that's how bad they are offensively in comparison. You can shoot all you want. The goal is to get in the net and this team can't and won't do it tonight.
With the chance to avenge the loss from earlier this month, with Kane making this team even more dangerous, with them coming off their best offensive performance of the year, with their starting goalie in tonight and a little winning streak going, we love the Oilers to win this game tonight. Ottawa also has scored two goals or less in six of their last 10 games and they had lost the last nine games to Edmonton before the win on January 15 and Edmonton has won 6 in a row in Ottawa this just gives us more reason to feel confident in an Oilers explosion tonight.
We could lay the juice or parlay but we feel confident to lay the small -123 juice to win in regulation tonight. Let's avenge the loss, ride the streak and get another NHL winner with the Oilers in regulation or three-way.
