The Hurricanes entered the all-star break first in their division and top of the conference, but they are in the midst of a cold spell. The Hurricanes have won just one game in the entire month of February and will look to get back on track against a talented Nashville bunch.

The Hurricanes will have a chance in front of the Carolina faithful tonight. The Predators are struggling themselves, losing three games in a row, scoring just six goals across the three games. Their offense is in a bit of a drought, and they need to figure things out sooner than later on the offensive end. If the season ended today, Nashville would be a playoff team, but they know they have to pick up their play to fend off some other teams in the western conference.

The play I am going with here is going to be to back the Carolina Hurricanes on the -1 line. This team has only won one game in all of February, but they are still the best team in the eastern conference, in my opinion.

They are back on their home ice in front of their fans which makes me love this play. Carolina just played their first home game in the month of February on Wednesday and played a very good game but ultimately lost to the Panthers in overtime. The predators are not at the same talent level as the Panthers, and if they play a game similar to Wednesday, they will get it done for us. I expect their big guns to step up and get them back on track as I also am sprinkling some money on Sebastian Aho props! Let’s get another win on the ice on Friday night.
