The Toronto Maple Leafs score goals. Yes, that shouldn't come as a surprise when looking at that roster and seeing all the firepower from top to bottom. Over their last 10 games, the Leafs put up five or more goals in seven of those games. That's just insane production for the team that is third in the NHL in goals for.
Auston Matthews is on his way to the Hart Trophy, no I don't think it's up for debate. With a whopping 58 goals on the season, he's impressed for the entirety of the season.

In the Maple Leafs' three meetings with Ottawa this year they've been impressive winning two of the three and most recently putting up a six spot in a 6-0 victory back in January. Tonight, my expectation is for the goals to continue to flow.
We will most likely see Anton Forsberg in net for Ottawa. Forsberg has actually been okay this year with a .919 save percentage and a 2.73 goals against average on the year. Against Toronto, he's played very well sporting a .935 save percentage and a 2.55 goals against average.
I don't think that trend continues tonight. The Leafs are still fighting for home ice advantage in the first round of the playoffs. They are all but locked in to play Tampa Bay and they currently will be the two seed but Tampa is just four points back.
I expect the goals to come early and often in this one with the Leafs coming out on top.
