NHL Tuesday's Best Bets: New York Islanders vs Florida Panthers and Predators vs Flames
Well, this is my third and final piece of the day and I am going to keep this one short and sweet as I want to tap in on two spots and do not want to keep our awesome team of editors in too late today (shoutout for always putting up with me being an hour behind you guys.)
There are two totals I want to get after, I am not going to do too much analysis here as all of you who tail my plays, have watched the show, or read my previous articles know what I look for. I have my reads and signals and when they line up I fire; I have two spots I want to attack here this evening.

NHL Tuesday Predictions
I am going to play the same bet on both of these games as well so I am going to just run through some things I love here. Florida is Florida; New York has played some awesome hockey here in the back half of the season despite being out of the race and I love what they are doing all around. Calgary is the Pacific leader and an incredibly strong, talented team that has scored 35 goals in just eight games this month. Nashville is doing everything they can to fight and claw their way up out from seeing Colorado in the first round.
All teams should score goals.
New York is 7-2-1 L10 totals at home; Florida is not quite the machine on the road but are still 44-26-5 on the total this season doing a stronghold of that scoring themselves.
On the road Florida is a league third-best 3.58 GF/G; Calgary is sixth-best at 3.41 GF/G. Since the All-Star break, all four teams are well above three goals a game; Calgary is second at 4.03, Florida first at 4.36, Nashville landing right outside the top third at twelfth with a 3.30, and New York further down the list but still sporting a 3.17.

The defensive side of the game is not the focus or necessarily the strongpoint or key factor to any of these squads; games; even if it was the matchups alone change the dynamic. I am not too worried about who is in net, I expect a lot of pace in both of these games and if all goes well we should walk away with these ones without too much trouble, knock on wood.
