St. Louis Blues vs. Boston Bruins Prediction

Well, guys, I feel like I am on repeat; I would say beating a dead horse but that is a lie, it is actually quite the opposite. In fact, this horse is very much alive; you could even say galloping in full stride if you will.

Enough with the funny business, the St. Louis Blues is absolutely on fire. I am not going to lie I know my boys incredibly well and It is amazing that we have gotten to enjoy this run with them. With that said, they are even beginning to exceed my expectations.

That is saying a lot.

I am a puck junkie, hockey analyst, and lifelong Blues fan who is supercritical of how they play based on my knowledge of how I know they can play. I wrote an article a few weeks back on the first day of this run talking about how they had unperformed and what they needed to do to get back to where they wanted to be.

I feel like they read my article took it and ran with it.

They have taken care of business against all inferior opponents down the stretch and gotten after every other squad in contention as well. They have stormed back into the second seed for the central division; they are 11-0-1 across their last twelve contests bagging 23 points to throttle them to a league 6th best 103 points.

They have knocked off some solid squads and multiple contenders through this run and have buried 64 biscuits while doing so for a league-best 5.34 GF/G L12. They have scored fourteen in the last six periods; that is awesome.

I am not even going to talk about anything else here other than touch on Boston, why bother? I do not mean that disrespectfully, Boston has a great squad and I think when they are healthy they do great things in the playoffs but they are out of form and St. Louis took the first meeting in a strong showing last week. Another Stanley Cup rematch ( and potential preview? Total longshot but what a dream that would be) for us tonight and it is on home Ice.

St. Louis is a must-play for us right now they have earned it and are showing no signs of letting up; they lost the last time Boston played them on home ice, game six of that series was a blowout. Boston will fight and should be good for a couple but look for the Notes to try to remind them why that cup came to the Lou.
