St. Louis Blues vs. Boston Bruins Prediction: Should You Expect Offensive Fireworks In This Clash?
We have two teams fighting for positioning as the Eastern Conference Boston Bruins meet the Western Conference St. Louis Blues tonight on ESPN+. Both teams are in the playoffs, but both are looking to move up as currently, the Bruins are just behind the Penguins for 6th and just ahead of the Capitals for the last playoff spot. So every game matters to the Bruins because no one wants to be last and face the mighty Panthers in the first round. The Blues, on the other hand, have the third-best record in the West but are fighting off the Wild, who have an easy game with the Canadians, so every point matters to them as they want to finish 2nd and maybe catch Calgary as well.

St. Louis Blues vs. Boston Bruins Prediction
Boston has been playing awful lately, losing three out of four, including a loss to Ottawa and these same Blues last week. Their offense has been non-existent as they have scored exactly two goals in the previous five games, which is quite the accomplishment. This is a middle-of-the-road offensive team, but they already know if they win tonight, two goals will not cut it. This team was scoring 4,5,8 goals at the end of March, and we expect this offense to break out tonight as desperation will kick in as they have games with Pittsburgh and the Rangers coming up.
As we mentioned last week, there is no one hotter than the Blues on offense. This team is scary right now and peeking at the right time. They have now scored four or more goals 12 times in a row, and if this continues, we get 4-2 Blues which would be a push, but we feel we can get at least one extra goal out of these two teams. This is the longest streak in twenty years as only Pittsburgh did better with fifteen games of four or more, and hopefully, the Blues can catch and break it next week. When you score four goals a game, you are winning, and St Louis is 11-0-1 over these twelve games with nine consecutive victories. Let's not forget the Blues are coming off a seven-goal period, the most goals they have EVER scored in a period, and even though the Bruin's defense has been great all year, you can't stop this train right now. The train we are talking about is the line with these three guys. Robert Thomas has a 13-game point streak with six goals and 19 assists. Pavel Buchnevich has a 10-game streak (18 points; six goals, 12 assists), and Vladimir Tarasenko has scored goals in five straight games (eight goals, six assists). Although the Bruins are missing a few key guys tonight (Pastrnak, their second-leading scorer), their backup goalie (Linus Ullmark is still hurt, so he is out) will be in, which will only benefit the Blues.

They have played once this year and scored six goals, so the worst we expect is a push again today. Let's ride the Blues' hot offense again tonight, and let's hope the Bruins get at least two goals for a sixth straight game and possibly one extra. Both teams need and want points, so we expect the offenses to do what is necessary to get them those points. TAKE over 6 -118 available at Fanduel and a few other places, and let's get that seventh goal for another over the winner in St. Louis as they go for 6-0-1 there last 7.
