Lightning vs. Predators Total Movement

Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Nashville Predators Prediction

Well these two squads have just been lighting it up lately and matchup quite well together; despite just missing out on the total in their last meeting (which to be fair was an outdoor game) they smoked the total in the three prior meetings.

Nashville is well in the playoff conversation/picture but have some teams chasing tail so they are still looking to secure as many points as they can here down the stretch but that is a tough ask tonight in Tampa Bay. The Bolts are the back-to-back reigning Stanley Cup Champions and despite the amount of attention and noise around what they have done this season, they continue to excel.

It is expected.

I know people worry when they play light for a week or a game here and there but the fact of the matter is they have been dominant everywhere they needed to be this season and were basically allowed to coast; coasting for them is 50+ wins with this current squad.

Thursday night they found their game again dominating Toronto in an 8-1 blowout on home Ice and they should keep it rolling this evening; despite winning the last meeting Nashville blew them out in all three meetings prior and Tampa Bay is aware of that.

The over is 27-11 in Nashville’s road contests this season, 8-2 L10. This one may be a blowout one way or another but I do not care; Tampa is hot, Brian Elliot is in net and Nashville wants this win against a squad they have killed in recent years, back the total.
