This has been a great series already in just two games. The two teams split in St Paul as the Blues pulled the upset in-game, but the Wild bounced back on Tuesday night with a blowout victory.

The Blues return home for game three tonight and will look to defend their home ice. Game three of a 1-1 series always feels like a key game, and these two teams are well aware of that tonight. The star for the Wild this season comes in the form of Russian-born winger Kirill Kaprizov. Kaprizov had a dominant season ranking top five in the NHL in the scoring department. He was able to score forty-seven times during the regular season and had a pair of goals in the Wilds win last game. He will be the guy the Blues look to shut down in this series.
The star for the Blues this year was veteran Vladimir Tarasenko. Tarasenko ranked top thirty in the NHL in points this year and is a great overall leader for this team along with Ryan Oriley. The Blues enter play tonight as the favorite on the money line sitting at -130 on home ice.
I am backing the Blues on their home ice tonight, and for a good reason! They came into the postseason playing some of the best hockey of any team in the league. They got hot at the right time, and I believe they continue to do so thru the postseason. Their job was well done in Minnesota as they took a game from the Wild on their home ice. That was all they really wanted to do, as now they control their own destiny on home ice.
This is one of the best teams on their home ice in the league, and I expect an electric atmosphere tonight in St Louis. They were 26-10 at home this year, while the Wild were not a great road team compared to their home dominance.
