The Bolts tied the series at 2 with a 7-3 home blowout win on Sunday night. Ross Colton led the Tampa offense with two goals as the Lightning got goals from six different players. Andrei Vasilevskiy stopped 22 of 25 shots for his 16th straight playoff win following a loss. Tampa chased Toronto goalie Jack Campbell after he gave up five goals on 16 shots. All of Toronto's goals came in the third period when the game was out of reach.

This has been a series of goals as there has been a combined 30 goals scored in the five games. During the three-game season series, a combined 25 goals were scored, it's evident that these teams love playing high-scoring games against each other. I think that should continue tonight. Goaltending has been shaky for both sides, and with the amount of Power Plays that have been granted to both teams, I don't see any low-scoring games here.
The teams have combined for 41 Power Play opportunities in this series with eight Power Play goals being scored. During the regular season, Tampa Bay averaged the fourth most goals on the road and Toronto averaged the sixth-most goals at home. The Leafs had the best home Power Play and the Bolts had the seventh-best road Power Play.
While I do expect a tighter game tonight, this first round has been very high scoring and coaches are pulling their goalies early so if one of these teams has a multiple-goal lead we could see some empty-net goals to move this along. I'm expecting a slow start in the first and then goal to come in the second and third.
