New York Rangers vs Pittsburgh Penguins Prediction

I have no bias when it comes to capping and after that game four performance from Pittsburgh.

What you have to understand is there is a way, path, approach whatever you want to call it for pretty much every single one of these teams to make it to the finals. Some teams are significantly more talented & potent than others but series hockey is an entirely different game. You need to beat a team four times in seven games, not play them once, and be done.

New York had a way to win this series end after Pittsburgh lost both starting netminders were given a clear cut edge in that department but they let that ride, they did not jump on it. Both teams play very defensively sound hockey when they want to but when Pittsburgh is buzzing they are buzzing. I am a big fan of what they can do, how they can take over a game and just play relentless hockey. There is a way to win the series was always going to dominate it; score, be relentless, physical.

They have done exactly that and Igor has collapsed in the meantime. I am on the Rangers to win the series, I was going into this but it’s going to be incredibly difficult to win this thing now. Pittsburgh looks great and even if New York steals a game tonight, which they are more than capable of, it’s a tough task. I’m not picking a side here as New York is going to be desperate and play their balls off but the Pens are playing playoff hockey and doing it with style.

Totals have been money in this series so far so I am sticking with it; if New York wins they have to score and if they are trailing they will empty the net early in an elimination game.

Florida Panthers vs Washington Capitals Prediction

That overtime victory for the Florida Panthers was a lifeline, a wake-up call if you will. These guys are very very good but our unproven in the playoffs; the other night they made a statement that said we deserve to be here and now you have a chance to prove it.

I’m not going to talk too much about this one as it is just like the last; this is playoff hockey and the tone has been set in this series. A lot of goals have been scored and should continue to be with so much talent on both ends. I know Washington has the vets and I love seeing playoff Ovi but I just feel like if Florida has a chance at moving on game five is a must-win on home ice.
