You all know where I stand here guys, I will not fade my boys. I have two simple rules regarding my teams, have stuck by them and it has done plenty for us this season. Here is my prediction, pick, and the odds for the Colorado Avalanche vs St. Louis Blues Game 1.

Colorado Avalanche vs St. Louis Blues Prediction
This team is built to go deep, has done it before and have all the talent, depth, and experience in the world to find a way to take care of business in this series. Berube is one hell of a coach and he knows how to win playoff hockey games.
The Blues have all their veterans including twelve from the roster that won the Stanley Cup just two seasons ago. This squad here is better than that one; guys like Kyrou and Buchnevich have added even more strength to the potent forward group they have. The defensive unit is much more talented and has already dealt with a lot of adversity going down three starters in round one and they found a way to adapt and win.
Everyone other than Tory Krug will be back in the lineup for this round and although he is a major part of what the Blues do they still have five of their top six and Scott Perunovich has filled into his roll quarterbacking the power play unit excellently. Jordan Bennington seems to have returned back to form and guys like Ryan O'Reilly thrive in this playoffs; he knows how to find a way to win.
It will not be easy, Colorado is favored for good reason and I have done nothing but praise them all season. I am a handicapper guy and one of the biggest hockey heads in the industry; no part of me is saying the Blues roll or that Colorado does not win this series. They are so incredibly potent, and motivated, and have been on a mission this season.

I am not saying Colorado does not win this series, I am saying St. Louis undoubtedly can. The winner of this series is in the Stanley Cup Finals come June, I would be shocked if we saw anything different. I am riding with my guys and love the value we are getting to do it at.
