Carolina Hurricanes vs. New York Rangers Best Bet: Will Carolina Take Game 2 at Home?
Back in the Lou for a bit and just got in yesterday, been running around quite a bit so not my normal sit down and type scenario but I have my plays together as always and I’m ready to roll. The playoffs have been treating us well and I really like what our teams in each series have been doing.
Tonight we close out game two’s as Carolina looks to further their lead in the series and stay undefeated on home ice this season; up north Edmonton and Calgary will resume the battle for Alberta.
Let’s start the night with game one, Carolina, and New York. Let's dive into the Hurricanes vs. Rangers odds, predictions, and best bets.
Carolina Hurricanes vs. New York Rangers Prediction
Anything can happen in playoff hockey but this feels like a must win game for New York, going down 2-0 to this Carolina team is asking for trouble. They blew that lead last round and I do not think you’d see them do that again.
Obviously, I am on Carolina, I am on them in the series and I believe that they’re in a better squad here; I am also going to attack the total in this one tonight. If any game in this series has a chance at flying over it should be this one after a tight game one; expect both squads to be pushing as Carolina wants to extend the lead and New York would love to knot up the series here.

If we have three or four goals going into the third period at a minimum, I will feel alright here. Teams pull their goal is way earlier in the playoffs, and these teams were just held down in the first game too much. Both squads are coming off series’s in which that 5.5 number was an easy over in most of the games, I think we have a good shot at it again here tonight.
