Blues vs. Avalanche Game 6 Line Movement

St. Louis Blues vs. Colorado Avalanche Game 6 Prediction

The Colorado Avalanche vs. the St Louis Blues will take place from the Enterprise Center on Friday night. This will be game six of this potential seven-game series and how we got here was in a crazy fashion.

The Blues fell behind the Avs in game five, 3-0. The Avs were as high as -3000 to win the game, and then the Blues marched back. They were able to get it to a one-goal game in the third, and they tied it up at 3-3. The Avs would answer with a goal of their own, and they were 50 seconds away from reaching the Western Conference Finals when the Blues tied the hockey game yet again. The Blues would go on to win the game in overtime, and now here we are for game six of this series.

We have seen this series exceptionally well to this point going 5-1 so far. Tonight we will improve on that mark. The Avs are currently the favorites to win the Stanley Cup, and they have not even won this series yet. That is a credit to how good this team is. They are led by stars Nathan MacKinnon and Cal Makar. They have tremendous depth and are one of the best offensive teams the league has seen in the past few seasons.

Something that has also played a factor in this series is the injury to Blues' starting goaltender Jordan Binnington a former Stanley Cup champion. The Blues are outmatched in terms of skill, but this team is filled with grit and will not give up tonight on home ice.

I have to back the Avs tonight on the road. I understand there will be a ton of energy in the building, so the first period will be key. I would not be shocked if the Blues did jump out to a 1-0 lead, but that has happened in all three of the Avs wins this series. The Avs will need to play a strong period and take some air out of the arena. They have the guys to do it, and this is a team that has been stuck in the second round the last couple of seasons. They should use that experience to help them tonight as they have a chance to advance to the Western Conference finals to face the Edmonton Oilers.

I have this line priced at -220, so even though there is some juice involved, I think it is worth the squeeze tonight as I still find value in this line. Let’s stay hot on the ice tonight and grab another winner to close this series!
