Round one was the biggest challenge for them in my eyes if they got through that the cup run was plausible.

They duked out the series with a starving Toronto Maple Leafs squad and despite going to seven games they still sent them home packing in the end. They have been here before, done it, know how to do it, and know that the most important thing you can do when trying to win a cup is to not lose back-to-back games. Mission accomplished.

But then to sweep the Presidents Cup winners in four games like it was easy? That is cold-blooded; I had them to win that series but man that was cold-blooded. This series should be electric and one of the best netminder duels we will see in the playoffs this season, if not the best.

The series should go deep but I am backing the well-rested, motivated, and seemingly reenergized Tampa Bay Lightning who now have to feel like sharks smelling blood in the water. Eight wins away from history, solidifying their names and legacy into the hearts and minds of those observers and all record books to come.

They are built to go deep and that is why they have. This series should be excellent but I am in the Bolts to win the cup and they are my horse out of the east; they have proven everything I wanted and needed them to and more. This team is so good top to bottom and they can beat you in a lot of ways, I think the Bolts secure game one tonight.
