Tampa Bay Lightning vs New York Rangers Game 4 Prediction

The Lightning came back from a 2-0 deficit to get a much-needed Game 3 win to shift the series to 2-1 in favor of New York. They have been an outstanding home team this postseason, while the Rangers have struggled on the road for the majority of the playoffs. The Rangers have won a couple of big games on the road, but for the most part, it has been a grind for them playing away from the Garden.

This series features two of the best goalies in the game in Igor Shesterkin, who will win the vexing trophy this year, and Andrei Vasilevskiy, who has a Vezina to his name already. The X factor in this series has been what offense can get going.

The Lightning have outplayed the Rangers in the five-on-five game, but the power play has been electric for the Rangers. It feels like every time this power play gets a chance; the puck ends up in the back of the net. Tampa will have to stay out of the box if they want to pull off this game tonight.

The Lightning are two-time defending Stanley Cup champs, so the moment will not be too big for them. The Rangers have shown their mental toughness this postseason, winning a pair of game sevens. This should be a good one tonight from the sunshine state. 

I am backing the Lightning here and sipping on some juice. Sometimes the juice is worth the squeeze, and that’s the case tonight. That Game 3 win gives Tampa a lot of momentum and fills the Ranger's heads with doubt.
