Can Tampa Bay even Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals or will New York take another win on the road? Tone's Takes provides his prediction.
ANALYSIS

Tampa Bay Lightning vs New York Rangers Prediction: Can the Bolts Even the Series in Game 4?

The Tampa Bay Lightning look to even the Eastern Conference Semifinal tonight, as they host the New York Rangers in Game 4. The Bolts have new life after they erased a 2-0 second period deficit and defeated the Rangers 3-2 in Game 3. Ondrej Palat notched the game-winner at the 19:18 mark of the third period. The Bolts outshot the Rangers by a 52-30 margin and carried the play, 5 on 5. The Rangers' only two goals came on the Power Play, which has remained hot into Round 3.

Let's dive into my prediction, pick, and the odds for Game 4 between the Lightning vs Rangers.

Lightning vs. Rangers Game 4 Line Movement

Tampa Bay Lightning vs New York Rangers Game 4 Prediction

New York had their chance to put a stranglehold on this series but missed their opportunity. After a sluggish first two games, the Bolts looked like their old selves in Game 3. Home teams have had success in these playoffs.

Tampa Bay is now 5-1 at home during the playoffs, outsourcing their opponents 23-14 and outshooting their opponents 211-175. Andrei Vasilevskiy has a .942 Save Percentage in home playoff games this season.

Conversely, New York is 2-6 on the road in the playoffs and are getting outscored 29-21 and outshot 285-225. Igor Shesterkin has a road Save percentage of .904, a significant drop off from his .948 home Save Percentage.

I love Tampa Bay to even this series but am not interested in paying the juice so I am looking at a combo bet with the under 6.5. Game 1 saw eight goals (which was an anomaly), and the two games following have seen a total of 10 goals. Both Igor Shesterkin and Andrei Vasilevskiy, the two best goalies in the world, are dialed in right now and I don't see seven goals being scored here. I like a 4-2 type win for Tampa Bay as they look to send this series back to New York, tied at 2.

Tampa Bay Lightning vs New York Rangers Game 4 Pick

Pick: Tampa Bay to Win and Under 6.5 +125 (Bet $100 to win $125)
