Guys this is not only just a ride with my read type of play but also a value play; Tampa Bay is once again a decently priced underdog in this series and I will glady take it, I just have to ask why?
Let’s start here so I can eliminate the assumed bias. I will say it loudly and clearly as I have all year, the Colorado Avalanche are an incredible hockey team and have all the talent in the world on that roster. They are relentless, incredibly potent, and have had a cakewalk here in the playoffs so far.
It’s hard to imagine that they continue to have one here in the finals. They are favored for good reason, starving for this Stanley Cup and in comparison to Tampa, they have a lot to prove. There is a lot expected of this team from themselves, the town, the fans, and everyone that has been a part of this team's rise back to the top in the last few seasons.

The thing that they have no control over here is the drive from Tampa Bay. They are four wins away from history, really solidifying their legacy and proving the legitimacy of this team's short dynasty. They know how to win playoff hockey games and have had there backs against the wall over and over yet they refuse to go away.
They have come too far to roll over now, they are going to give this series everything they have. Even if they make it back next year, which would be incredible, the three-peat is where it begins and this squad may never have the opportunity to win another one together again.
They can go low and beat you, they can light the lamp and beat you. The pressure is not on them in this one and they hold the edge in areas where I can see them thriving. If you can slow down Colorado and make them not always play a style of hockey they want to, you can beat them.
