We are, however, sitting on our largest wager of the season for the Avs to win the cup, so I would not be that sad. The bottom line is we have to find stuff to gamble on for this game Incase the Avs win tonight and end the NHL season.

Colorado has won two games in overtime in this series, and that has been the difference. They stole game four in Tampa Bay as the Lightning outplayed the Avs for the majority of that game. That is what good teams do. They go on the road, and they steal huge games. The Avs now have to win one of the remaining three games to be Stanley Cup Champions. Two of those games will be on their home ice, including tonight.

Colorado has been a great home team all season long, and they would love nothing more than to close their season in front of the Colorado faithful. Tampa will not go down without a fight. This is a team who has won back-to-back Stanley Cups, so the moment will not be too big for them believe that. The Avs enter this one as a heavy favorite. 

I am backing the Avs on the -1 line tonight. I was very confident coming into this series that they were just the more toasted team, and I think we have seen that on display so far in this series. Even when it feels like they are being outplayed, they can steal games, as they showed us in game four. This is a deep team playing with a ton of confidence at the moment, and I expect them to have more energy tonight in their home building.
