Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Colorado Avalanche Game 6 Prediction
We’ve cranked all postseason, rode the Bolts all the way here and they made us a lot of money but in game five I finally had to change my look. It is quite simple really, the reads and analysis all make perfect sense if you read the pieces, keep up with the sport, and know the ideology behind the argument. I could have easily picked a side, written about them, and rode with them without question all series. Both teams are more than capable of winning this thing and I will not be shocked by who does win in the end when it is all said and done.
Last game I switched to the Avalanche for game five; they held a commanding 3-1 series lead, had the opportunity to win this series at home in their city, and to end this thing early. I knew Tampa Bay had already smoked the Avalanche once (as I said they were capable of doing) but after two overtime losses in games one and four, I felt as if they may have squandered their opportunities.
Beating this Colorado team has not been and will not be easy. It takes a collective all-out effort front to back and you simply just have to be better than them or they will bury you. I have said much of this before and all I’ve done for this last week on the ice was cover this series.
You all know how I feel, how each team can win in my eyes, and what needs to be done. Still just a victory away the ball is in Colorado’s court, the cup is waiting for them and that pressure builds up further here tonight. Tampa is 8-2 on home ice this postseason and lost the last one to Colorado after blowing a late lead and chance to even up the series.
The goal was always to force game seven and now they have another chance to do it. I don’t care about anything else, I am on Tampa Bay.
