With the NHL Draft tonight, JT Miller has a two-leg parlay for us on the first overall pick and a MLB moneyline pick.
ANALYSIS

NHL Draft Best Bet: Parlaying the No. 1 Overall Pick With an MLB Play to Get Juicy Odds

This parlay is really fun in my opinion; one leg is going to take 3-4 hours and the other will be over within about ten seconds. Let me add this in a disclaimer right now: if your book does not allow this type of parlay I’d look for other ways to play them if you can. NHL prop straight for small money and parlay the MLB play elsewhere, tag the run line potentially. These plays are both really juicy so I wanted to see how the parlay line looked and it is plus money; I’ll take a plus money bet here anyway.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Chicago Cubs Prediction

The Dodgers cooled off a bit but are still a stellar 52-29 on the season and on their home field here tonight. Tony Gonsolin has the ball and that should be all I need to say; he is 10-0 with a 1.54 ERA and very sub-one WHIP at 0.82. They take on the 34-48 Chicago Cubs and give the ball to Mark Leiter jr sporting a 4.85 ERA on the season. I feel very good about the Dodgers getting the job done.

NHL Draft Prediction

The second leg here is our NHL Draft prop bet and I feel it is a no brainer backing Shane Wright to go #1 overall in the NHL draft tonight. He is the definition of a complete prospect, has a high ceiling in my opinion and will fit in perfectly on that second line for the Habs this year. He is the best option for them here tonight and I expect him to make a very immediate impact in the fall.
