I love the young talent Anaheim has and they have been exciting despite the poor start to the season. Yes, they are just 3-7-1 to this point and sport one of the worst goals-against averages in the league (31st with a 4.58) but they are starting to find their footing, at least on the offensive side of things. They have won three of their last four games while scoring a combined total of twenty goals in those contests.
All of their previous four games have gone over and in a big way. Only one saw seven goals, the rest were north of nine. If they continue to contribute offensively as they have lately totals are going to keep smacking.
Florida has struggled a bit to start the year in comparison to last year but still sport a winning record and is the better squad here but not by much right now. They sport a lower 3.22 GAA but still have lost three of their last five and are conceding at the 13th-worst rate in the league. Four of the last five games have gone over for both squads.
I have not gotten to use the data I like and splits to our advantage much this year as it just started and I needed to have some to use in the first place before I could confidently (last year helps but I like to compare my data from the previous season to current along with quite a few other things/variables) but we are now at a point where we can.
Teams that score and get scored on early tend to open up games fast and we see goals early and often, that is the key to the best totals. Anaheim is the second-best team for the 1p o1.5 in the league currently at 9/11 on the year and 8-2 across their last ten. Florida is not far behind at 7/11 on the year. I think we see two or three in the first here and should have a chance to hit this one pretty comfortably if all goes according to plan.
