San Jose Sharks vs Vancouver Canucks Prediction
Well we cashed in on the total with Vancouver and Las Vegas last night and with the Canucks on the back-to-back here, I am looking to do the same thing here tonight. These squads have a strong history of high-scoring affairs and are conceding at a high rate this season so I like our chances tonight.
Vancouver has been electric offensively lately having scored four or more goals in their last six straight games now and was capable against some strong opponents. Bo Horvat leads the team in goals scored as well. I said it last night but I will say it again because it is worth reiterating; since getting over the hump Vancouver has been one of the league's best teams in regard to scoring. After dropping five on the Vegas Golden Knights, and their lead netminder last night, they are now sporting a strong 3.54 GPG average on the season and rank fifth-best in the entire league.
Before the near shutout last night Vancouver was conceding 3.81 goals per game ranking third worst in the entire league; they still rank third worst heading into this one, though that number did drop to 3.73 after that great game defensively last night. Spencer Martin stood on his head, and while I do have to tip my cap to him for that, we do not need to worry about him tonight as Thatcher Demko will be starting for Vancouver.
San Jose is not far behind Vancouver sitting at fifth worst in the league with a 3.52 GAA and has conceded five or more goals in four of their last six games. That is a recipe for disaster against a red-hot Vancouver squad that is scoring in bunches and has won the last six consecutive meetings between these squads.
San Jose Sharks vs Vancouver Canucks Same Game Parlay Picks
Vancouver is still the best team in the league for 1p o1.5 and I expect that to continue tonight as it did last night. Four straight contests between these two squads have gone over and Vancouver has scored 23 goals in the last five games against them.
