Minnesota Wild vs Edmonton Oilers Prediction, Pick, Odds: Can Connor McDavid and the Oilers Bring the Heat
When these squads clash it tends to be an absolute barnburner and that is exactly what I am expecting this evening. Edmonton started their stronger net minder in Stuart Skinner last night in Chicago so I expect us to get Jack Campbell this evening against Minnesota.

Minnesota Wild vs Edmonton Oilers Prediction
On the flip side, I am sure we will see Marc-Andre Fleury against one of the most potent offensive units in the entire league with star Connor McDavid leading the way but that does not phase me much considering how he although he has played well in terms of the league's standards this year he is not playing that great by his own. He has a GAA just shy of three and has been more susceptible to poor games at home this season.
Minnesota actually has one of the better goals allowed averages in the league sitting just under three at a 2.98 however when they are on home ice they are the third worst team in the league with a 3.71. Take that and add in the fact that they have dominated Edmonton in this series as of late (Minnesota has won five straight meetings) and how well Edmonton's offense has been playing, everything seems to be lining up for another high-scoring affair.
Edmonton is sporting a 3.55 GAA on the road this season and Jack Campbell has not been great. Minnesota is averaging north of three goals per game on home ice this season and Edmonton is averaging above that number no matter where they are playing, home or away.
The Wild have dominated this rivalry in recent years winning five straight and scoring 27 goals against the Oilers for a killer 5.4 GPG average over that time. They are aware of this dominance and want to keep it going. Conversely, Edmonton feels like it is time to get back at them and I think they show up offensively tonight. Three of those five games between these squads have seen north of eight goals, I like the matchup here. Four of each team's last five games have gone over as well.
We are double dipping on this game.
