Carolina Hurricanes vs. Los Angeles Kings Pick

Kevin Fiala Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (-106) Bet $100 to collect $194 Best odds at Barstool

We're going to Barstool for this one because, for some reason, they've got this priced at -106 when every other book on the planet is making us pay out of our noses. For real. Just look at DraftKings who is out here making us pay -140 for this. Bet365 is doing the exact same thing. FanDuel is cutting a little break at -130 but that is still pretty jacked up. There is really no reason for us to pass up a deal like this. If Barstool is right, then so be it but I'd rather back every other book on the planet. It just feels right.

Carolina Hurricanes vs. Los Angeles Kings Prediction

Here's the thing, I don't even watch hockey. Definitely not the regular season but if the Boston Bruins are in the playoffs I'll watch that. It is what it is. Still, I like to gamble and hockey is fun to gamble on so there's that too. Plus tonight, we're getting a bounce-back opportunity which is what I live for. This guy Kevin Fiala is coming off of a game where he didn't even get one shot on net. Not one. This comes after he went 3+ shots in 12 of 13 games. I feel like he's due.

The biggest issue is the fact that the Los Angeles Kings are in Raleigh taking on the Carolina Hurricanes tonight. The Hurricanes are filthy. But the thing is, we don't need the Kings to score goals for this to work. We just need shots. I looked it up and this guy Fiala plays left wing. That's important because, in Carolina's last game, two different left-wingers had 3+ shots on goal. On top of that, he leads the Kings in shots on goal this season so if anyone is getting wild tonight, it's going to be him. Not a hockey guy, but this is too good to pass up.
