Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Pittsburgh Penguins Prediction: Will the Lamp Be Lit Often?
Well, we have a pretty large slate here tonight and I think there are quite a few totals you could look at and play but this one has been circled for me and has had my eye since they met on Sunday. Tampa Bay left the first period with a one-goal lead after three goals were scored in the first, then the wheels fell off for the Bolts.

Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Pittsburgh Penguins Prediction
Normally, I would just go Tampa Bay on the money line after dropping back-to-back games but I am going to attack the total based on what we are seeing. Tampa Bay is still one of the most talented teams in the league with an incredibly potent offensive unit. Still, the defensive effort has not been great.
I do believe they try to tighten it up but they also need to start scoring again. The loss to their in-state rival Florida on Tuesday should have them fired up. They played an awful first period and tried to grind it out but could not find the back of the net more than once.
As always when backing the over in a Tampa Bay game, Andrei Vasilevskiy is the biggest concern here in my eyes. However, with the way the defense has been playing and the recent offensive output from Pittsburgh, I still feel confident that he lets a few sneak past him tonight. Four of the last five meetings between these two squads have gone over and we have seen eight plus goals in the previous two.
