Busch Light Clash Prediction: Trusting Chase Elliot in Los Angeles

The cup series returns on Sunday night, and we are heading west to the beautiful LA Coliseum for this race. We will see the best in the game go at it tonight, and I can’t wait to kick back and watch this.

Busch Light Clash Prediction

The coolest part about this race is the location of it. We all know about the LA Coliseum and the amazing history of it, but the fact that they flipped this into a race track is so cool to me. The favorite to win this race is veteran racer Kyle Busch who drives the #18 car.

Busch has had a great career and enters with +550 odds to take this home. The second favorite is my favorite racer in the Cup Series, the number nine car in Chase Elliot. Elliot is going to be our play tonight in a head-to-head matchup, but personally, I sprinkled some on Chase to win the race.

I love the odds on the race for Chase who has come onto the NASCAR scene quickly taking over. I am excited to see how he will fare in this matchup tonight. The other favorites for this one are Kyle Larson & veterans Denny Hamlin and Joey Logano.

I am going to take a head-to-head matchup here to kick off our season. We had a ton of success with these head-to-head battles last season, and I found one I really like for tonight. I am going to take Chase Elliot to place ahead of Joey Logano.

This is a really good spot for Elliot to come out and dominate this first race of the season. These are both great racers and expected to finish in the top five, but I think Elliot will be able to dominate this race. I like him against anyone in this race outside of Larson, so this head-to-head with Logano is a no-brainer to me. FYI to new NASCAR fans, do not panic till the last few laps.

It is not uncommon for someone to come from behind in these longer races. I think this is a great track for Chase to take advantage. Let’s start the season hot how we ended last year!
