Sweet Lou Monaco is back with his picks for race 6 at Parx Racing

PICKS: 7-4-1A-3

We will stay right here at Parx Racing in Bensalem, Pennsylvania for the second straight day as we take a look at a $45,000 maiden special weight race for 3-year-old fillies over one mile on the dirt.

The field of 7 will go to gate for race 6 on the 10-race card with an approximate post time of 3:10 p.m. ET.

#7, Tonal Verse, Trevor McCarthy, 6-5 - Tonal Verse makes her visit to Parx Racing, coming off two back-to-back, in-the-money finishes in maiden special weight races at Laurel Park. She placed second on Nov. 24 and third on Dec. 27. This will be her third career start and has Trevor McCarthy guiding for trainer Graham Motion. She gets it done today for this duo. The pick.

#4, Double Doink, Frankie Pennington, 5-2 - In her career debut here, she finished sixth in a maiden special weight race on Jan. 27. So she comes back two weeks later so that could be a good sign as Frankie Pennington takes the reins for trainer John Servis. Runner-up.

#1A, Play by Play, John Bisono, 8-1 - Play by Play, part of a trained-entry with No. 1 Refinery, also makes the same two-week turnaround as Double Doink as she finished fifth in a maiden special weight race on Jan. 27 here. John Bisono has the mount for trainer Uriah St. Lewis. Will be interesting to see which part of the entry has a better day. Contender.

#3, Naturally Quick, Angel Rodriguez, 5-1 - This will be her fourth career start and her second go-around at Parx since a seventh-place finish in her career debut here on Nov. 19. She has raced in two straight maiden special weight races at Laurel Park, finishing sixth on Dec. 13 and in her last, third on Jan. 18. I think she will build on that finish for Angel Rodriguez, who is in the saddle, for trainer Patrick McBurney. In the mix.
