After a day off, the first Wednesday in March brings us to Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, Florida for a $50,000 maiden special weight race for 3-year-old fillies over five furlongs on the turf. The field of 10 will go to gate for race 1 on the 10-race card with an approximate post time of 1:00 p.m. ET.

#6, Summer in the City, Luis Saez, 6-1 – You guessed it, another first-time starter out of Summer Front for trainer Todd Pletcher. Her last workout was a breeze from the gate over four furlongs on the dirt at Palm Beach Downs on Feb. 23. Luis Saez has the mount. Anytime you have Saez/Pletcher teamed up, you have to consider.
