Three picks and recommended wagers for Saratoga on Thursday:

Race 2 – Pick #1 Nutsie (10-1 ML) - Click here to bet with TVG

One of the great things about Saratoga is the influx of horses making their career debut and first year sires that make a mark with them. Nutsie is a half to Momameamaria that is by first year sire Exaggerator. This year Exaggerator is 2 for 7 (29%) with firsters and 5 for 7 (71%) in the money with them. The David Cannizzo trainee has been working very well for this spot. He drew the rail and with excellent speed jock Kendrick Carmouche aboard, they can upset this field at a nice rice.

Race 3 – Pick #4 Lost Ticket (5-1 ML) - Click here to bet with TVG

After finishing well to be beaten two lengths at this distance and level last out, Lost Ticket returns to upset this field at a decent price. The Bill Mott trainee might need some help on the front end, unless Hall of Fame jockey John Velazquez decides to get aggressive with her, putting early pressure on probable pacesetter Olendon. She has worked well since that effort on July 17th.

Race 8 – Pick #1 Quiet Out East (6-1 ML) - Click here to bet with TVG

Despite stumbling at the start, Quiet Out East finished well to be beaten a length at this distance. He was claimed off that effort by Bruce Brown and now switches to Joel Rosario, who is 11 for 32 (34%) at the meet when racing on the inner turf course. He should get a ground saving trip and get up in time for the victory, like he did in his previous start on June 14.
