Race 3 – Pick #5 Setting the Mood (4-1 ML) - Click here to bet with TVG

With a race going a mile and three eighths race on turf, the field will be crawling on the front end and it will be a drag race to the finish line. On July 9th, at a mile and a quarter race at Belmont Park, Whatdoesasharksay set slow fractions and then tried to outrun the field in the stretch. He ran the final quarter in :23.75 but lost ground in the stretch and finished third. One of the horses that beat him was Setting the Mood. She made a strong middle move to gain the lead in the stretch before finishing second. She had run the final quarter in :23.26. Both of those horses are in this race with three others that doesn’t have much early speed. Despite beating Whatdoesasharksay last out, Setting the Mood in the longest shot in the race on the morning line. The tactical early speed advantage he has and the price makes Setting the Mood one to bet on here.

Race 8 – Pick #6 Bye and Bye (4-1 ML) - Click here to bet with TVG

After closing to finish third in the Caress Stakes when making first start for Anthony Dutrow, Sweet Bye and Bye returns to route. She shows better early speed when going two turns on the grass and Jose Lezcano picks up the mount. She was a gate to wire maiden winner at Parx on turf in only career start at this distance.

Race 9 – Pick #7 Dial Me Up (6-1 ML) - Click here to bet with TVG

After finishing second in both career starts on dirt, Dial Me Up cuts back in distance for turf debut. Christophe Clement started the meet on fire but he has slowed to a crawl the past couple of weeks. But he looks ready to begin another hot streak and try to contend for the trainers’ title. Joel Rosario, who has been aboard for most of Clement’s victories, retains the mount.
