Race 8 – Pick #3 Paradise Pride (6-1 ML) - Click here to bet with TVG

After coming into his own to win impressively his last two starts, Paradise Pride cuts back in distance while making his stakes debut. He has shown improved early speed in both of those starts and now makes his two turn debut. There is enough speed in the race for him to stalk while saving ground and should get up in deep stretch for the victory

Race 9 – Pick #9 Bankit (5/2 ML) - Click here to bet with TVG

The Stave Asmussen trainee is graded stakes placed and makes local debut after finishing fourth in the John Morrissey Stakes at Saratoga. He has made $708,825 the hard way, with a record of 18-2-5-3 in stakes company, mostly versus state breds on the NYRA circuit. He doesn’t have much early speed but should make a move on the far turn to the lead and go on to victory versus these.

Race 10 – Pick #7 Fly On Angel (12-1 ML) - Click here to bet with TVG

One of the best trainers off the claim is Claudio Gonzalez. He wins at 33% on dirt with horses first off the claim. He claimed Fly On Angel for $50,000 off a gate to wire victory going seven furlongs at Parx on August 10th. He comes back 18 days later to make his stakes return. His best races have been on or close to the pace and he has the ability to lead every step of the way to win at a price versus these.

Race 11 – Pick #9 War Story (4-1 ML) - Click here to bet with TVG

This is the fourth year in a row War Story is racing in the Charles Town Classic. In the three starts at this race he has a second and two third place finishes. The Elizabeth Dobles trainee shows a couple of bullet works at Palm Meadows for his first start since finishing third in the Grade 1 Pegasus World Cup in January. He does huis best racing outside of horses ad this should set him up well for a run in the Breeders’ Cup Classic.
