Racing analyst John DaSilva previews Thursday's card at Kentucky Downs

Race 3 – Pick #6 Cuestion de Tiempo (10-1 ML) - Click here to bet with TV

Stakes placed gelding stretches out while making his first start versus regular claimers. Last time out he finished well to be third at the five-furlong distance and coming off a three-month layoff.  Early in his career he was a front running horse, but he has now learned how to rate successfully. With the positive jock switch to James Graham, the class relief and increase in distance, that recipe is enough to get him to the winner’s circle.

Race 4 – Pick #4 Sorrentina Lemon (5/2 ML) - Click here to bet with TV

After an outstanding Saratoga meet where he finished tied for third with Mike Maker with 20 wins, trainer Christophe Clement looks to continue his winning ways with Sorrentina Lemon. The lightly raced daughter of Lemon Drop Kid is making her first start since finishing second in the Winter Memories Stakes at Aqueduct on yielding turf in December. Prior to that she had won her previous two starts of her career. Joel Rosario, who was aboard for most of the victories for Clement at Saratoga and rode Sorrentina to victory two back at Belmont, has the call here.

Race 8 – Pick #5 Stunning Sky (3-1 ML) - Click here to bet with TV

Mike Maker had an outstanding Saratoga meet, having 20 wins to tie for third with Christophe Clement. Now he goes to the track that he has always been dominant at. Maker, Kentucky Downs’ all-time leading trainer with 56 wins, seeks to win the Dueling Grounds Oaks with Stunning Sky. While racing in stakes company in her last six starts, Stunning Sky has been in her best for recently, finishing second at Saratoga in her last two starts. Irad Ortiz Jr., who was aboard the last two starts. retains the mount here.
