Serie A and La Liga Weekend Parlay: Banking on Napoli to Get It Done

Serie A and La Liga Weekend Parlay at +270

With AC Milan playing on the road against AS Roma, Serie A leaders Napoli have a great chance to maximize the gap between them and their followers. At the same time, Valencia and Villarreal should offer us a high-scoring clash in La Liga.

Salernitana vs. Napoli (Serie A Round 11) - Sunday, October 31 - 1:00 p.m. ET

Salernitana vs. Napoli Odds

Superb Napoli travels to play Salernitana on Sunday in what should be a comfortable away win. For the 1st time this season, Napoli dropped points last weekend in the goalless draw against AS Roma. The Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, played the entire match but failed to find the back of the net. Luciano Spalletti was sent to the stands after receiving a red card being suspended for the midweek clash against Bologna.

Napoli immediately bounced back, beating Bologna 3-0 on Thursday, with Lorenzo Insigne scoring a brace. He is just two goals away from equaling Maradona's goal tally for Napoli. Napoli has the third-best attack in the league with 22 goals scored in 10 games but what's more important is that they created a fortress at the back, having the best defense in the league with just 3 goals conceded this season.

Not everyone can go and keep a clean sheet against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico. Only three teams managed to score against Napoli: Genoa in Round 2 when Napoli won 2-1 on the road, Juventus, but they also lost and Fiorentina, but they conceded two, losing the game.

On the other side, Salernitana is sitting 19th, just 1 point above bottom placed Cagliari. They kicked off their season with four consecutive defeats, but they enter this game on the back of two wins in their previous four fixtures. Moreover, they managed their second win of the season on Tuesday, completing a 2nd half comeback away at Venezia. It was a crucial victory for Salernitana, who were dead last before the midweek action.

The hosts are very offensive, and everyone believes that after the success against Venezia, they might pull off the upset and win point/s against Napoli. But that win could well backfire for them, and they will be relaxed. Let's not forget that after winning their first game of the season against Genoa, they lost two in a row. They normally score at home, but with Napoli's amazing defensive record, it's risky to touch the goals' market. So we expect Napoli to extend their brilliant run of form and cover the -1.5 spread.

1st Parlay Pick Napoli -1.5 (-105)

Valencia vs. Villarreal (La Liga Round 12) - Saturday, October 30 - 12:30 p.m. ET

Valencia vs. Villarreal Odds

Usually, two top sides in La Liga, Valencia and Villarreal, are having disappointing seasons so far. The visitors won the Europa League last season, beating Man United in the final, but this season something changed, and they can't find their form. They won just 2 in 10 games this season and are closer to bottom-placed Getafe (9 points) than to leaders Real Sociedad (12 points).

Probably they are struggling because of their European commitments and their squad depth. However, they are also playing in the Champions League, and they still have chances to qualify in the knock-out stages. Their last season's top scorer Gerard Moreno missed six games this term with an injury, but Nigerian-born Dutch striker Arnaut Danjuma netted five goals across all competitions.

On the other side, Valencia is winless in their last seven games, losing four in the process (3 of them being on the road to Betis, Barcelona, and Sevilla). The good thing about Valencia is that even if they lose, they score goals. They failed to score in just 1 of their 11 domestic league games this season, the goalless draw away at Cadiz. So they are not a bad side, but they have some important injury issues. Denis Cheryshev, Maximiliano Gomez, Thierry Correia, and Toni Lato are all ruled out with injuries.

Both teams have goals in them, and at the same time, they are struggling to keep clean sheets. We've seen at least 3 goals scored in seven of their last nine mutual encounters between the two sides, and both teams scored in each of their last four head-to-heads.

2nd Parlay Pick: Over 2.5 goals (-110)

2-Leg Parlay Picks (+270)

  • Salernitana vs. Napoli - Napoli -1.5 (-105)
  • Valencia vs. Villarreal - Over 2.5 Goals (-110)
