Many European giants want to sign Dusan Vlahovic after his recent goalscoring exploits in the Italian top-flight league. He’s a joint top-scorer with 10 goals netted in 13 games but also offered 2 assists in the process. Last season the Serbian international scored 21 goals in 37 appearances. This term, he averages 3.4 shots per game in the domestic league and 1.1 shots per game from outside the box. Let’s not even talk about how good he’s on the aerial balls. He’s a phenomenon, and he’s just 21-year-old.He refused to sign a new contract with Fiorentina, and he will probably leave at the end of the season if not in the winter transfer window. Till then, he still has a goal in him, and if you like your props, you should always add him to your anytime goalscorer bets.
Unfortunately, Fiorentina is very bad on the road losing their previous three games away from home (Juventus, Lazio, Venezia), failing to find the back of the net. This should end against Empoli, who is one of the worst home teams in the league. They won just one in seven home games, and they conceded 19 goals in the process.
With a win on Saturday, Fiorentina might leapfrog Lazio and AS Roma in the standings as they are equal on points with Lazio and just one behind AS Roma. Last weekend they pulled off a great upset, beating second-placed AC Milan With Vlahovic scoring a brace. Empoli lost on the road against Verona, but they played good having four shots on target. The hosts failed to score in just one of their last five home games (0-2 to Inter), and we expect them to contribute on the scoreboard.
Fiorentina will be without Matija Nastasic, Erick Pulgar, and Bartlomiej Dragowski, all injured, while Nikola Milenkovic and Lucas Martinez Quarta will return to the squad after serving their suspensions. The visitors are the only Serie A team with no draws so far this season, winning seven in 13 games. However, their inconsistency on the road should come to an end, so we are backing them to win this clash.

Both Eintracht and Union Berlin have European commitments, with both playing on Thursday. There’s only one big difference: Eintracht is playing on home soil while Union Berlin travels to Israel to play Maccabi Haifa.
Back to Bundesliga. Eintracht beat the mighty Greuther Furth two rounds ago with the winning goal being scored in the last second of the game by the Colombian striker Rafael Borre who’s finally starting to adapt and score goals because this is his job. That win offered them a huge boost of confidence, and they managed to make it two wins in a row by surprisingly beating one of the revelations of the season, Freiburg, on the road.
On the other side, Union was crowned the kings of Berlin after beating their city rivals Hertha in the derby. Once again, Taiwo Awoniyi was the hero for Union, being named the MVP of the round in theGerman top-flight league. He became Union’s all-time Bundesliga top-scorer with 13 goals netted in 33 appearances. It’s not a lot but let’s not forget that this is Union’s third Bundesliga season.
Since getting promoted to the top tier league Union faced Eintracht on four occasions, and we’ve seen at least three goals in the match and both teams scoring in all four games. It’s strange to see the over 2.5 goals in this match being priced at almost even money, but we will take it.
Both teams will be tired after the European action. Union conceded but also scored in every single Bundesliga away game this season, while Eintracht contributed on the scoreboard in four of their five home games.
