Bayern struggling with Gladbach is one of soccers unsolved mysteries. The Bavarian giants lost just four games all season long across all competitions, and two of them came against Gladbach. That's crazy, given Bayern's world-class squad. If only Dortmund could do that, then the Bundesliga might have a plausible title race every so often.

Yes, they were without many of their key players, with Manuel Neuer, Leroy Sane, Kingsley Coman, Alphonso Davies, Leon Goretzka, Lucas Hernandez, or Dayot Upamecano. Guess what? Let's note that Bayern was very unlucky not to score more than once against Gladbach, missing some crazy sitters, particularly in the second half. Sassuolo might be hit and miss on many occasions, but in general, they are a team to watch, being one of the most entertaining ones. Of course, you must have a good heart to be a fan of Sassuolo but if you love adrenaline, go for it.

They have an attacking style, always on the front foot and a good thing about them is the fact that if they go 2 goals up, they will not sit back and defend the result. As a result, they scored 36 goals and conceded 33 in 21 Serie A fixtures.

On the other side, Verona kicked off the new year with a shocking 2-1 to bottom-placed Salernitana in a match they controlled from the first till the final whistle.
