Bundesliga and Serie A Weekend Parlay: Bet on Goals
Serie A is giving us the most anticipated match of the weekend in the European top five leagues with leaders Inter set to take on second-placed Napoli while Eintracht Frankfurt hosts revived Wolfsburg in Bundesliga with both teams trying to make it two wins in a row.
Napoli vs. Inter (Serie A)
Napoli are the most in-form Serie A team and they enter this crucial clash on the back of four domestic league wins in a row. On top of that, they kept three clean sheets in the process and imagine they were without their most important defender Kalidou Koulibaly, who won the Africa Cup of Nations with Senegal and without their main midfielder Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa who finished third with Cameroon in the same tournament. They are both back and they will definitely play a big part in this clash.
For Napoli, this is the match of the season. They are trailing Inter by one point and a victory will see them leapfrog the Nerazzurri at the top of the table. Piotr Zielinski and Hirving Lozano as the only absentees for Napoli with the trio Osimhen, Mertens, and Insigne ready to lead the attacking line. The Italian international Lorenzo Insigne has signed a pre-contract with Toronto FC in a landmark move for the club and Major League Soccer and will join on July 1st as a Designated Player after the expiration of his current contract with the Italian giants. His teammate Dries Mertens has a contract with Napoli that expires in June 2022, but he is unlikely to get a contract extension at this stage. The two players will give their best till the end of the season and try to leave the team as league winners.
Napoli were knocked out of the Coppa Italia one month ago by Fiorentina (with Dusan Vlahovic inside their squad) so they had one week at their disposal to prepare for this mega-clash. On the other side, Inter played AS Roma on Tuesday booking their Coppa Italia semifinals ticket after beating Jose Mourinho and Co 2-0 with two beautiful goals scored by Edin Dzeko and Alexis Sanchez.

The reigning champions lost the big advantage at the top of the league after a 2-1 defeat to bitter city rivals AC Milan last weekend with Olivier Giroud scoring a brace for Rossoneri, completing an amazing comeback. The fight for the Scudetto is getting more and more intense with the top three teams (Inter, Napoli, and AC Milan) separated by just one point. It’s true, Inter have a game in hand on their two rivals but their confidence will surely take a huge hit if they lose this important game.
Inter Milan will come into this on the back of three wins and a draw in the previous four mutual encounters with Napoli. Only one of the last six head-to-heads between the two teams produced three or more goals, so if we’re going with the stats, we should definitely take the unders. But as we said before this is by far the most important match of the season for the two teams, and we expect them to enter this match all guns blazing. For Inter, Joaquin Correa is set to miss out through injury while Ivan Perisic is doubtful.
- 1st Pick of the Parlay: Over 2.5 goals in the match at -110 with Bet365
Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Wolfsburg (Bundesliga)
Eintracht Frankfurt vs Wolfsburg odds
Wolfsburg's long winless run ended with a high-scoring and well-deserved victory against the mighty Greuther Furth with goals from Aster Vranckx, Maximilian Arnold, and Max Philipp. Winless in their eleven previous games across competitions, the Wolves failed to score in 405 minutes before last weekend’s win. The international break was exactly what they needed, and they regained some confidence after the 4-1 win. They made some important moves in the January transfer window with Max Kruse from Union Berlin being the most important one. Kruse's influence will be huge on and off the pitch and we expect them to start scoring goals soon for his new club.
On the other side, Evan N'Dicka and Ajdin Hrustic contributed on the scoreboard for Eintracht in the 3-2 win over relegation-threatened Stuttgart. N'Dicka has already matched his tally from last season with 13 games left till the end of the season. Eintracht’s influential winger Filip Kostic missed last weekend’s clash but he is fully fit and ready to deliver some more assists. Eintracht are struggling to keep clean sheets and we expect them to concede once again. Both teams scored in the previous four mutual encounters between the two sides, and we expect the same outcome.
